Happy Spring friends! I know it's still officially a week away…but here in Louisiana, Spring has made it's entrance. Trees have bloomed, birds are singing, and there's been enough rain for the entire season. I don't know about you, but fresh air and blooms are exactly what our family needs right now. I want to share ways to create an outdoor oasis so you can spend time enjoying the fresh air.
I'm honored to be a part of the BHG Live Better Influencer Network! I love to represent a brand that has quality style at affordable prices. I'll be compensated for my effort and time creating this blog post…however it's no additional cost to you, if you choose to shop through the links provided (just click on each small photo). As always, my opinions are genuinely my own, and I hope you enjoy this post with ideas for creating an outdoor oasis!
There are three simple items you need to create an outdoor oasis. First, and most important, is comfortable seating. I chose this Better Homes & Gardens Meadow Lake Wicker Loveseat with big comfy cushions. I love the neutral gray tones of this loveseat…perfectly compatible with any style outdoor space! This provides family and friends a spot to sit and visit. Furniture placement should be considered too…placing seating facing one another to ensure easy conversation. In addition, I added the Better Homes & Gardens Tufted Trellis Throw Pillows to the sofa for some texture and coziness.
The second way to easily create an outdoor oasis is to add pretty plants and flowers in planters or containers around your seating area. I found two farmhouse style planters that are great for displaying blooms. The Better Homes & Gardens Fischer Round Ceramic Planter makes a nice spot for small blooms like carnations or succulents. It has a nice ridged edge that gives a little modern vibe. This planter is nice and heavy, too. It makes a beautiful centerpiece for an outdoor coffee table or side table. I also used the Better Homes & Gardens Ellan Faux Galvanized Plastic Planter for the lavender plants. I love the mix of rustic with elegance this planter has.
And the third and last way to create a beautiful outdoor oasis is to mix vintage with new items. I love how a few vintage items look with new pieces! Even in outdoor spaces, a vintage item can really highlight the new items. This antique wooden bench looks nice paired with the new loveseat. And I also used a pair of vintage French bistro chairs to complete the seating area. This makes for great conversation and creates the feeling of an outdoor room. The vintage tall basket is the perfect side table between the chairs. I placed the Better Homes & Gardens Luster Vase on the basket table full of fresh flowers. And the Better Homes & Gardens French Country Vanilla Candle makes the entire front porch smell so yummy and fresh!
Have you created an outdoor oasis for your family this Spring? If not…consider these above Better Homes & Gardens Patio options to make your space feel like an oasis! I hope I've inspired you today to design a little comfortable spot for your family to enjoy this next warm season. Let me know which piece you like best! Please leave a comment below!
Enjoy your first week of Spring my friends! And as always, thank you for visiting my blog today! Happy porch sittin'!!
